Welcome to Hamot Second Century Fund

Where Your Gifts Touch Lives.

Charitable gifts in support of Hamot's mission and vision have been made since the very beginning of Hamot's history. In fact it was a gift of the Hamot homestead at Second and State streets from the heirs of French explorer Pierre S.V. Hamot, that enabled Hamot to open its doors in 1881 and begins its legacy of help and healing and its tradition of healthcare excellence.

The dawn of Hamot's second century of service to our patients and the community arrived with a number of opportunities to expand and enhance services, along with a number of financial challenges. With the realization that Hamot would need full-time, focused fundraising to meet the growing needs of our patients and the financial challenges of the ever-changing healthcare environment, Hamot's leadership established Second Century Fund in 1981.

As the development department of Hamot Health Foundation, the mission of Second Century Fund is to serve the interests of its donors by supporting Hamot's patient care programs, technology, education and research.

We invite you to spend some time here on our site, where you can print a gift form, read about our giving programs, explore the various ways our planned giving options can offer financial benefits to you and your family, and much more. We also invite you to contact us directly - we would love to talk with you about the role you can play in Creating Ways to Better Health.
